At Big Sisters/Sisterhood, we strive to provide you with a seamless and efficient shipping experience. Please take a moment to review our Shipping Policy.  

Order Processing and Shipping Timeframe:

  • Once credit card payment is approved, orders are prepared for shipment.
  • Most of our items ship directly from our primary warehousing location in Missouri. Orders for these items typically process and ship within 1-3 business days (Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT), with many shipping out the same or next business day.
  • Some of our products ship directly from our trusted logistics partners or vendors. Orders containing these items may require additional processing time. Please allow approximately 7 business days for these specific items to be processed and shipped by our partners before transit begins.
  • Delivery time estimates below begin after an order has been processed and shipped.
  • If your order contains items shipping from both our Missouri warehouse and a partner/vendor, you may receive your order in separate packages with potentially different arrival times.

Domestic Shipping (United States):

  • We offer free standard shipping on orders over $35 for domestic customers.
  • Standard Shipping Estimated Transit Time: 2-10 business days after shipment.
  • Express Shipping Estimated Transit Time: 1-3 business days after shipment.
  • Please note: These transit times are estimates provided by carriers (like USPS) and are not guaranteed.

International Shipping:

  • We provide international shipping to most countries worldwide. (Exclusions: French Southern Territories, South Georgia & South Sandwich Islands).
  • International Standard Estimated Transit Time: 7-28 business days after shipment (varies greatly by destination and customs).
  • International Express Estimated Transit Time: 3-14 business days after shipment (varies by destination and customs).
  • Please note: These transit times are estimates provided by carriers and international postal services. They are not guaranteed and do not include potential delays from customs processing.

Important Notes:

  • Address Accuracy: Please ensure that your shipping details are entered accurately during checkout. We are not responsible for any delays or delivery issues caused by incorrect information provided by the customer.  
  • Weather Delays: Severe weather events (e.g., snow, ice storms, flooding) affecting operations at our Missouri warehouse or impacting carrier routes may cause processing and shipping delays. While these events are beyond our control, we will strive to update affected customers on the status of their orders when possible.
  • Lost/Stolen Packages: Once a package is shipped and tracking information is provided, Big Sisters/Sisterhood is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We do not replace items confirmed as delivered via tracking but reported lost or stolen. It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor tracking details and ensure safe receipt of the package at a secure location.
  • Customs & Duties: Please be aware that international customs processes may cause delivery delays beyond our estimates. Any additional customs fees, import duties, tariffs, taxes, or brokerage charges imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Shipping Rates: Shipping rates are calculated dynamically at checkout based on the items ordered, the shipping destination, and the selected shipping method.

Holiday Shipping:

  • Orders placed on U.S. holidays will be processed and shipped on the following business day(s) according to the timelines outlined above. Please anticipate potential delays during peak holiday seasons.
